Where Theology Meets Art

The Price of Greed

Originally drawn in 2024 Emmy's charcoal piece the Price of Greed was recently used in a local grassroots postcard campaign to highlight the scarcity of water in the desert for the 2025 New Mexico legislative session.

Prints of this piece are available, as are postcards if you wish to organize your own post card campaign.

Please consider the following when organizing a post card campaign:

  • Be Respectful and Professional: Even if advocating for a cause you’re passionate about, remain polite and respectful in your language and tone.
  • Stay On-Topic: Focus your message on the issue at hand. Avoid going off-topic or using unnecessary emotional language.
  • Use Clear and Concise Language: Your message should be easy to read and understand. Keep it brief and impactful.
  • Know Your Audience: Tailor your message to the specific individuals or groups you're targeting, considering their concerns and values.
  • Follow Legal Guidelines: Ensure compliance with local laws, such as rules about paid political advertisements and any necessary disclaimers.

Artist’s Disclaimer: The artist is not responsible or liable for any messages sent on postcards featuring their image. The views and opinions expressed are those of the sender, not the artist.
